Customer Service and Customers

I would really love to know something, when did it become a right to have a cell phone? Having a cell phone is a privilege, not a right. A cell phone is not a play toy either, it is a tool for people to use and should be treated as such. I also do not understand customers who own a business and have prepaid service. I mean WTF? If you can run a business, then damn it you can afford a post paid service. I am so tired of hearing those people call in complaining that they ran out of minutes and the company is ruining their business, I have two words for you SHUT UP! You get what you pay for. Also people learn how to pay your bill instead of letting it go for a few months and then call and expect that you can make payment arrangements and not ha...

Do you feel better now? Look, we all have jobs and we all have things we hate about our jobs but guess what? I'm a cingular customer and I don't want to hear about how annoying customers are. I too work in a retail setting so I know how tough it is but THAT'S WHAT YOU GET PAID FOR... hence the term CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you just need to b**ch then b**ch at your girlfriend/wife/friends/co-workers or your mommy you whine-ass.

And they expect this free phone because they have been a customer for x number of years and spend x number of dollars a month and have a year left on the contract. Now if you apply this same logic to a car it would go something like this.... I drive my Ford into the lake and do not have insurance on the car. So I go to Ford and tell them that they should give me a discount / free car because I have be...

I would add that my time as a rep is taken up needlessly arguing with this customer when I could be assisting someone that really does want help. And to Pink, a little venting like wolf did in a logical and non hostile way is good every not and then. Because maybe a customer somewhere at some time will read this and understand why he/she has to wait on hold or in line an extra twenty minutes. 😁

My point is that everyone that has a job has spent "needless" time with a customer or two. I work in a high end department store - you should HEAR the things that customers say to me. I have no problem with venting but maybe you guys need to be reminded that your customers are on this si ...

...or wireless afficianado...

You know, I kind of like when the reps vent on here. Breaks up the monotony of people asking the same question over again about SIM cards or thread after thread about why their wireless provider sucks. Whatever, keep it up guys!
