New Plans starting Oct 1?

For all you great Cingular reps out there... Are there Cingular Plan changes for Oct 1 or thereabouts? (ie changes in Rollover minutes, overall minutes, mobile-to-mobile, weekend, nights etc)

I am upgrading my phone any day now, will I be better or worse on a single plan if I wait until the new month? Thanks! 🙂

Our price changes actually happened yesterday (the 25th), but they didn't affect price plans. We are getting some "exciting" new International Roaming plans in October, but you'll get no benefit by waiting until the first for something new.

the only change that i see that we have talked about is a change in rollover mins. If you go from plan to plan you are only alowed to keep the total amount of rollover mins of the plan you changed to. i.e. if you were on a 1350 min plan and you went down to a 900 min plan the amount of rollover you would be allowed to keep would be 900.

That's something new I still haven't heard about. I guess they were planning on bringing it up wednesday morning at the manager meeting... four days after it's in effect.

not true. that hasnt changed. it was supposed to happen sept 1st but removed it from the agenda. all reps should have had mandatory reading on that in csp. but in the far future (ie at least 3-4 months) it could be a possibility

If Cingular does that they are committng suicide!!! I have moved my mins down to use some of my rollover. I paid for them then why can't I use them by down shifting so that I'm not buying more. IF they do that Verizon here I come and bringing a **** load of Cingular custumers. Oh yea Verizon has a 6 month exclusive on the treo 700W which will make some jump ship.

If you have that many minutes I guarantee some were expiring faster than you were using them. The vast majority of customers WILL NOT be effected by this change. If you have that many minutes saved up you should have changed plans long ago.

They aren't like airline miles where you just get to cash them in anytime you like.

And for your last comment, Cingular has an exclusive in the HP which will be out shortly unlike the 700W which MAY be out next year. I hear Verizon may get the RAZR soon too. Oh wait, Cingular already has that as well.
