6230 Problems -- Not related to locking up

I am on my 3rd Nokia 6230. All 3 have had the same problem. My calls are VERY choppy and full of "static." This occurrs all of the time, whether I have full signal or no signal or anywhere in between.

I called in to see if Cingular would send me yet another 6230 to attempt to get one that works as well as everyone says it does, but I was told that they would only replace it with a Moto V551 or a Siemens S66. At this point, I told them that I would just deal with my choppy phone calls, for now.

My issue is that I have all of the accessories for a NOKIA. ie. the stereo headset, the data cable, etc.... Is there anything I can do to get another 6230? Or at least another Bluetooth, MP3 capable Nokia so that I don't have to buy all ne...

Will they give me that phone as a warranty replacement, though, since I obviously can't get another 6230?

Could just be a rumor, but I have heard they will give you a 6682. Read it on here somewhere. Just call 800.801.1101 to confirm.

Yeah, I called them (twice as a matter of fact), and 2 supervisors told me the same thing. I can only have the V551 or the S66. I am not too pleased with either option. I would really like to stick with a Nokia.
