Just all depends on your needs. RAZR is a good phone. I have personal experience with that. Don't know much about the ROKR except what the guys at my store say, and they don't seem to like it. This isn't EBAY but PM me and I will tell you more. I have certain high end phones for sale.

In response to the fish's comment before it was deleted, and rightfully so:

The SE s710 is actually a much less durable phone then the RAZR. I have seen screens coming back leaking LCD fluid. The RAZR hinge can break if you DROP IT ON ROCK, but that's what insurance is for.

And the S710 cannot be insured through lock/line, as its retail price is 299.99. Anything over 200 dollars is not insured through lock/line.

The S710 is sweet, don't get me wrong, but I would wait until it drops in price and can be insured. The RAZR also gets much better signal strength, in my opinion.

As far as choosing from the RAZR or the ROKR, I'd say go RAZR. A lot of indirect locations can sell the puppy for 100 bucks (on 59.99 rate plans and higher...

Off topic, but the S710 can be insured. My buddy had his insured and he broke it, they replaced it with the P777.

On topic, I'd say go with the RAZR. When the RAZR first came out, there were a lot of problems with it. Now that the ROKR just came out, I'd have to say that in typical Motorola fashion this thing will suck until they make an updated model.

Go with the RAZR for safety's sake.

funny, i have an original V3 (won it in the rollout moto contest) and have had ZERO problems. i've since modded and reflashed it and it is still running strong.

using MultiFlashFlex, (the moto software for flashing phones). all the stuff you need is fairly accessable on the net, and as long as you know what your doing, it's easy. but if you don't, it's easy to make a nice looking paperweight. 😲

The $200 insurable/uninsurable thing is just a myth. Here is what to go by. It gets updated, so make sure to refer to it if you are unsure.
