PTT Plans

Does anyone have any knowledge of how Cingular is going to set up the PTT plans? Is it just going to be an add-on or part of a whole new plan? What about those of us who are already on a regular talk plan? And what about the phone itself. Is it discounted only if you take a new plan or priced differently depending on if your new or upgrading? I know it's a lot of questions, but as usual, Cingular is mum on the subject. Probably why there's going to be delays. It's hard for a company with highly paid executive minds who know something is coming out months in advance to do planning and complete their plans on-time.

Ptt is going to be an add on like MEdia and such. As far as discounts for existing customers who want to add the feature.... i don't think its gonna happen. But with other companies that introduced ptt they didn't give discounts to customers unless it was within the upgrade period so i don't expect too much on that front.

I agree, however, rumor has it the delay in launch is due to a last minute policy which may involve discounting PTT phone for current customer under contracts not able to upgrade at the time. It sound like their will be a trade in program. It may not be a "deep" discount but hey every penny counts.

that's true but in my last meeting we heard nothing of the sort, not to say it won't happen but you know about the bottom of the totem pole. it would be nice to see a discount (even a small one to promote customer loyalty and to get the service off the ground)
