I am amazed to see sales and customer reps in a public forum whining about customers, those we are paid to serve. This makes even less sense than them complaining about a service or product they paid for.

When a customer comes in threatening to switch to another carrier, I lay out to them all the costs of switching vs. staying but I also tell them sometimes you just have to try both sides to see which is the best. Some customers may switch to and then stay with Verizon but some customers will not like having to pay for every little thing, not being able to use MP3's as ring tones, and having to sign a new contract just to change a plan.... all for service that is overhyped.
