Anyone experienced the problem with the low volume? Ive read reviews of people having problems. I was gonna purchase it on letstalk.com but i dont want to waste the money if the sound is bad.

I haven't had any of my customers come back to me with that problem, although this is a relatively new phone and could still have some kinks to work out. If you're worried about it, wait about a month and let Nokia make a couple batches and fix the tiny bugs with the new software. If it isn't that much of a worry for you, buy it and remember that you can always call Exchange By Mail (XBM) and have them send you another one if your's goes nuts.

I activated one the other day. The customer wanted me to show him how to change his ringtone. We started trying the tones out one by one. They were very quiet. I went to go turn the volume up and it was maxed out. I was nervous because the customer was older, so I wanted him to be satisfied. I closed the phone and called it to see what it would sound like and it was loud. Basically, when the phone is open, the sound is going to be dramatically lower than when it is closed. This was my one experience.

Dude, maybe you are going deaf.

Seriously. You might consider getting your hearing checked.

Maybe you just got a bad phone. Happens sometimes, even with brand spanking new equipment.
