STUCK BETWEEN 2

I need a new phone and am stuck on 2 diff. phones. I like the SE T637 and the SE s710a. i like both phones feature line ups and the looks. any help would be great

No comparison. Get the s710a. I just got a week or 2 ago and it is absolutely amazing. The camera is awesome. I get signal where no other Cingular phone I have gets signal. And the screen is awesome. Well worth it.

kool, thanks i am leaning twards that one, but the t637 is a little cheaper in price.

I got the s710a free -- my 6230 crapped out and they didn't have any more. But I think it is well worth the 199.99. I even like it better than the new Nokia 6682
...

i was thinking of the nokia 6682 also, but it looks a little in the big side, with s710a to use the voice dialing do u need to train it or not.

You have to record each individual name separately. I think you can have up to 50 voice dials.

ok, that kinda sucks, how does the speaker phone mode work/sound. i heard the phone's OS was really slow, do the newer ones have the slow OS as well?

The OS is not slow at all. It just hangs up once in a great while....but it always unlocks itself quickly. I never use the speakerphone because I use Bluetooth, but ringers and things sound great from the speaker so I guess the speakerphone would work well.

do you know why it lockes up, can it be fixed? how do you hold the phone when making calls, with it open or closed, and is it a comfortable hold? what is your battery life like? sorry for all the questons, thanks for your help.

It isn't that it really locks up - just hangs up for a little while. Like a computer when you get too many things going on at once. It doesn't happen that often at all, and when it does, it doesn't last for more than a couple seconds.

I use it both ways - open and closed. It is just like holding a normal bar phone when it is closed. When open, it feels kinda like a flip and kinda like your normal land line cordless phone.
