sim replacements
Anybody notice alot more customers coming in needing sims relaced lately? i have had about 4 times the amount of customers come in that did not burn them. just no service no "cingular" on screen or insert sim, replace the sim and it works fine. just wondering if its just in my area (eastern long island NY)

I was just gonna post a message about that. I've noticed it WAY too frequently. The phone will be working fine one day and the next it says no service. We give them a new sim and problem is fixed but i can't figure out why these sims are going so quickly

Yeah.
Check your CSP. The North Texas Market is requesting we send all bads SIM chips to the head of network to be checked.
They are trying to determine if it is a SIM issue or a handset issue.

They posted a network notice companywide that tells you what to do with bad sims... and how to actually test if it's sim issue in the store. Check the CSP for more info.

I cant find any info on this in csp i typed all kinds of stuff into the "new improved search field" what are you guys looking under?

well i found out about it through my email, they sent an alert from out network dept. but it had a link on the bottom to the csp for more info.
