UMTS/HSDPA means better signal coverage??????

Quick question for all you cingularians or whatever you call yourselves. Does this upgrade by cingular which is suppose to launch next month mean that users in these projected cities will see a significant improvement in there RF or signal quality? Meaning because this upgrade is both voice and data capable are users going to notice much less frequent dropped calls? As well as much better penetrating signal? If not this launch really does nothing to help the major problem cingular is facing and that is in-consistent network, hopefully the answers are all yes to my questions otherwise cingular is doing nothing more than providing data speeds equal to what verizon has done long ago, only thing being is cingulars network is no were near as cons...

You obviously do not like Cingular. That is almost a question and a Cingular put down all in one paragraph. To compare Cingular's network and Verizon's is apples and Oranges please just go back to the Verizon forum, and continue to worship Verizon. Plus Verizon does not even work in my area very well. Inspite of the wonderful commercials about their great network.

Geez,

The trolling is just horrible.

When are you going to get it through your thick skull?

Carriers are strong regionally.

Verizon is great on the coasts and not so great in the Midwest. Cingular is great in the Midwest and no as great on the coasts.

Get yourself a life.
