More commission cuts???

Company owned retail sales: There is a rumor that upper management (ARSMs, Directors, etc) has recently started conference calls with all SM's and ASM's that describe how the company is planning to cut commissions again, to the point it will only make up about 30-40% of our total pay (whereas now it is about an average of 70% and up).

Its bad enough taht my commission checks have gone from an average range of $1800-$2200 down to $1100-$1400 this past year (a couple of months even lower), but now this?????

How could this company not realize they would "get what they pay for" if they continued to Nickle & Dime some of the people MOST IMPORTANT to them: those that face the customer every day!!!!

Are we really becoming clerks?!

And TenMidgits is an uneducated consumer that didn't get his free phone when he dropped his in the toilet, so now he is on a "Flame Cingular" mission.

Isn't it you whining in the Verizon forum about your phone today?

Last time I checked, I'm allowed to complain and seek help when my phone doesn't work properly. But what you can count on is it isn't me TROLLING in the VZW forum saying how Cingular is God as you are doing in the Cingular forum about VZW.

Just out of curiosity, what is the starting base for someone with a Bachelors in Business (Marketing), 3 years sales experience, and high performer (110-150% to quota/revenue depending the month)?

What is the average commission range for this same criteria.

DISCLAIMER: Not interested in working for TMobile, just comparison.
