v600 and MMS

I am in the Philadelphia area and just received the v600. I am trying to get MMS to work. I have talked to Cingular three times and the last person I talked to says that they do not know what the proper settings are and tickets have been opened.

Does anyone here 1) have it working 2) know what the proper settings are?

I have noticed that in the email setup, for example, that if all of the fields are not filled in, even if blank, then the phone does not consider email setup complete. Maybe the MMS not functioning has something like that wrong.

the mms is set up entirely through cingular...it's not something you do from the actual phone...i would call cingular back, and tell them to activate mms...they have to do it. so you've got to get somewhere sometime...

I work for a premium agent here in West Texas and I also have a v600. When the phone was activated you should have a pay per use ability on the phone. I think your problem is that the MMS SOC code is either wrong or missing.

If you do send a lot of pictures I recommend the media works package. It is 1500 text messages, 200 MMS messages, and unlimited internet, all for 19.99 a month. This is a GREAT deal!

Hope this help.

Will 🙂
