Just curious if anyone on this forum works for the actual cingular wireless co. I just got a job there and i start tomorrow, and info i could use on my first day? 😉

I work for cingular and just keep in mind everything is subject to change and u will be fine. Everything u learn in training goes out the window once u are on the floor.

No matter how long we are with the company there are plenty of times you still feel like a newbie. No matter how much we know there's always something we don't know. I've been here almost 2 1/2 and I love it, the company is very supportive and you are never alone.
The biggest piece of advice I can give is to not be afraid to ask questions. Use your team, that's what they are there for. 😉

I too work for Cingular here in Lubbock Texas. I have been with my company for 4 months now. My biggest piece of advice is stay up on your reading. You obviously have found a good place here at this website. I also recommend gsmworld.com. Also, when you recieve The Cingular Beat news letter, be sure to read the updates, our company is always evolving. You will meet a lot of people and have tons of fun. Not to mention make tons of money.
