My particular phone sucks! now what?

Well the title says it all. My ROKR sucks. Now I am not complaining about the phone, when I bought this phone (the day it was realeased) I was not trying to replace my ipod, I knew the phone would be what it is. Nonetheless, my phone won't charge, it takes me up to 25 mins to get the phone to accept the charger....the phone won't connect to itunes, which leads me to think there is a short in the wiring or what not on the connector since the battery charger goes in the same place.....the phone never reads the sim card.....and i get dropped calls galore!

Now my question is, what do I do. Do I have the right to complain and demand a new phone? If so what will I get...I know what want!

If you are within your fist 30 days you can replace the phone with nay other phone u want. but any difference in price will have to paid at the store. If you are beyond your first 30 days your are still under warranty call 1800-801-1101 and get a replacement phone. but it will probably be the same phone if available. If not available a phone with similar features.

I honestly have no idea what you are talking about, I have had a V551 and a black V3 in the past year, and have had absolutely NO problems with either. They have both been great phones, re-instilled my confidence in Motorola....after the V60i/V600 nightmares that I almost couldn't get over.

The V551 has major battery problems and the same crappy charging port that has broken on every other motorola (except for the RAZR).

The RAZR is the closest thing to a good phone that they have put out recently, and I have even had some problems with that phone (allbeit not as major as many other Moto's I have had).

The battery problems with the Moto V551 have long since been resolved via a firmware upgrade. If you're out of warranty, contact MOTO, they can help you get it. If you're in warranty, contact Cingular and go through the warranty exchange process.

I hear ya. I went back to Nokia land after using a V300. Motos are cute phones with cute features, but at the end of the day Nokia wins all.

Here is what you need to do:

1. Sell your Moto ROKR on ebay.
2. Either pay full price for a new phone at cingular, or better yet, buy a kick ass Nokia 6200 off of ebay, or buy some other phone from ebay.

3. Stop whining. What did you expect with your phone? Mp3 player, camera, not good enough for you? Then wait for the MOTO KOMB which has a built in mirror and hairbrush so just in case you are caught in traffic and are bored, your phone will not only take pictures and play music, but you will also get some grooming too.

I'm sure that was a ton of help to the original poster. 🙄

Well I am tired of people buying these ultra pricey phones and then whining and complaining about them. i.e. "My RAZR sucks, I hate it so much..."

I am serious about the EBAY part. If he sells it on EBay he will easily make 300-400 dollars off of it!

Guess what???? I have had a RAZR and I have had problems with it. Therefore I am entitled to whine and complain. If I spend $549.00 (which is what I paid) on a cell phone, IT SHOULD WORK FLAWLESSLY!!!!

I can understand electrical issues, or problems after it gets old, but anything within the first couple months is inexcusable.

I never had a RAZR, I was quoting what others said about it. Some RAZRs work, others don't, the same thing happened with the V300. Many people had problems with it, others didn't.

If you bought it the first day it was out you are decidedly out of your first 30 days. My question would be, did you not know you could return the phone within 30 days?
