New LG Phone & Sony E. @ best buy...and NOT at cingular!!
Best Buy has the new LG CE500 I think(not sure on the model) it is the MP3 phone, w/ camera & Flash.
Also they have the Sony Ericcson Z520 phone....yes no joke...Best Buy in Fayetteville NC...I even went to the cinglar store and one of the reps was telling me she was upset b/c she saw both of the phones over the weekend to and the actual Cingular does not even have them...not even listed on here as being released....maybe the got them early by mistake???
Anyone else see this or anything simular?

Best Buy has deals with certain phone companies to offer the newest phones earlier than most service providers. Yeah, sounds odd, but they basically pay to have those phones in early and not (by your assumption) by accident.

Best Buy has the exclusive on the LG CE500. As for the SE Z520, they do not have the exclusive rights. All sales channels should have access to the phone this week.

I'm trying to find out how good the CE500 is.
Is it worth buying or should I go to the Nokia 6102?
CE500 was to be an improved but lesser than version of the European M4300 (minus Bluetooth & internal antenna).
LG was to have debugged it, did that happen?
Has LG improved their phones?
Has the reception gotten better and what about the bad charging problem?
LG has had a bad rep, however I have heard it has improved, yea or ney?

Well I just had an LG replaced. It blacked out alot and had poor reception. They replaced it with the C2000 and it seems to be working nicely so far.

ant1171984.... thanks for the heads up about best buy!!!!!!! I went there to get the z520a and ended up leaving with the lgce500.... dude I've waited sooooo long for a phone with color external id and flash then to have the mp3 player with external buttons was just the icing on the cake. Yes I know there are phones with color external caller id and flash (did not want the mpx220 or the razr) and far as hsdpa goes I'll wait til next year when the lineup has bulked up!! I've always been a huge Motorola fan bust they just wouldnt make a phone to spec and besides I just wanted to give something else a try!!!! Once again good looking!!!!!!!1

Hey Cingular77! Glad to hear you got it. Im still thinking about it. I really want a PTT phone....unfortunately Cingular is slow as we know and the first 2 phones (and the only 2 so far, the LG Slider for PTT and the Samsung for ptt) are quite boring....they have PTT but no camera or anything else. I am looking for a phone that will do the ptt, have a camera w/ flash preferably, and an MP3 player...maybe by xmas 2006!!!! Anyway...tell me how you like the phone and about it.

the 520 is coming in as the 500's run out of stock. as far as the lg phone, I'd have to say they may have a pre-launch exclusive on it, maybe because moto n apple signed a contract that cing stores won't carry another "music phone" for a certain amount of time because of the rokr... that the only explanation I can come up with that makes sense...
