Surprisingly cingular hasn't commented at all about the leaked information on the UMTS launches.....watsup with that
usually when something like this happens....the carrier sends a lawyer's letter saying that the story better be pulled or else

Thats because UMTS has been launched. It's here, we can already activate people on plans if we have a Smart Chip and 3G handset.

UMTS has been in test cities for well over a year now, way before the merger so there is nothing to hide. In fact when it premiered, AWS offered a Motorola that was pretty damn expensive and I think I only sold one of them.

Companies "leak" information like that all the time. Builds up interest as the launch closes in. Helps to drive up stock prices also.

Well, it was from their own site accessed without illegal means. Hard to sue someone.
