Hi guys I got the link to this article from some guy here at phonescoop.com I thought I'd share it with you, I know it's long, I was written by one of the guys who helped invent CDMA, very interesting Enjoy!

Anxio!

P.S. I think it's funny when they talk about Europe going to CDMA after all, because this is the only thechnology that supports our needs...

OK, so you posted someone's opinion. If that helps you sleep at night, great. I don't know about everyone else here, but the only thing that prove to me was that the guy wrote a paper on CDMA and GSM. There are no major analysts on in that article. Nice try though... 😁!

Gee, Anxiovert, you're plastering this eveywhere! Must be the impending consolidation of ATTWS and Cingular that's making you wet your pants. Like I responded to this post elsewhere, it doesn't matter how you cook it, it only matters if the customer finds it tasty. We do tasty very well, and manage to do it without outdated analog backing us up to make up for weaknesses in digital network.

that must be why AWS was bought by Cingular right? its because they're doing so well with their TDMA/GSM networks and granted this isnt the first wireless merger (and I know you'll bring up Verizon) but I just want to point out that AWS was trash talking Verizon up and down the avenues when those com...

The guy was an engineer at Qualcomm...I think that gives him a little bit of credibility.

That's true. But all you have to do is read the article to realize its veracity. I don't necessarily agree with Anxiovert and his not so subtle cheerleading (if this was the case Sprint service would have NO problems...lol) but I do think that CDMA, when applied the way it was meant to be applied, is a more efficient and reliable standard than GSM.

🙂 Bigbmc-this is not a response to this message, i actually have a question for you.
I waited over 1 year for the v600 and now that is on the market it is out of my price range.
How long before you think the price will drop significantly?
This might be a little difficult for you but you have always come through.

Thanks.

Cingular is gonna make money on it as long as possible. It may go on a $50 mail in./$50 trade in later in the summer, but only time will tell.
