I saw a post somewhere stating this device would be available to B2B peeps immediately, rather than the 11.21.05 date that has been thrown around. Can any CingularÂ® professionals elaborate on this?

I can't confirm or deny it as I've heard nothing of it. I haven't even gotten an official retail launch date yet.
