please explain the point of nation plus plans...

what's the point is getting this plan? its not like its a package deal, so you get some sort of discount..

the only advantage I see is for Cingular, that if you change text plans (which is normaly a feature) you are now changing plan, and would have to renew..

so please sombody explain what is the benifit of this plan? (I did hear that they might lower the price on the nation plus, that would be good, and make a little sense, is this true?)

The advantage is that when a customer calls in to switch to a Nation Plus plan, it expedites the service, by adding all of the features included in the particular plan at once, rather than a rep having to search, and search for the features within the system. This speeds up the transaction rate, and thus allows Customer Care to help more people in a timely manner. Also, since the total cellular market is so saturated with cell phones, cellular companies are having to develop new ways to generate new revenue, thus Cingular is bundling items together.

Have not heard that they would drop the price, but would not put it past them to drop it a little.
