First they have to get PTT released. The HTC phone is actually a rebranded "newer" version of the audiovox. thats why the price dropped on the 5600.
Not everyone wants PTT, so not every phone is going to have it. First they gotta "convince" enough people to get it. More phones are going to come out for it once the manuf. can design phones to handle the software. Remember, sony just got approved by kodiak in august. Patience... I know I don't have any either lol

Look, PTT isn't the end all be all of mobile phones, otherwise Nextel would be killing everyone. They were older than Verizon AND Cingular.
