Call Conversion (PTT to Cellular) pretty cool eh?
Contact Alert.
I'm very excited about our new product. 😁 I think Nextel has a real competitor now. I guess time will tell.
Nextel has call conversion, if the entry has a phone number
Nextel has an "alert only" as well.
So the only thing Cingular PTT has is a way to leave a message on PTT; this may be useful to some, but I predict that having too many options will just serve to confuse the average user. Nextel's huge advantage...even compared to sprint's PTT (I haven't seen/played with Verizon's or Cingulars beyond this review)... is that is so simple to use, you might as well be using a two-way radio: find the name, push the button, you're connected. No significant delay, it isn't even terribly complicated to add entries to your PTT list; anybody who has operated a radio can do it.

A couple of us that have used it are getting it now.
(For one example, where a $59.99+ plan lands you $28 commish, it will now be $19.)
Of course theyre not gonna broadcast it, so you have to look for it!
