The New Crack!

Maybe the subject of the thread is not appropiate, but it is going to be so true. I believe that the new Sony Ericsson Z520a is going to sell like crazy! The phone is amazing, and will blow all the midgrade Motorola's out of the water! Size, function, and durability are all there for this one. GREAT addition to the line of phones.

Yes, but there are alot of people like me out there. People who won't buy the SE phones because they don't have "Send" and "end" keys. I wouldn't have bought the S710a, but I'm glad I got it through XBM. Now that I have used one, I will probably never use anything but an SE or a RAZR. But I know alot of people who walk right past it just because of the lack of those 2 keys.

I have never ran into that problem. SE's are just like crackberries in my opinion... it will take a while to catch on to using one, but once you do, its hard to use anything else. You just watch, they will sell off the shelves! The 557 may not even have a fair chance.

I hope you are right. But crackberries??? Sounds good, I might need to try one of those. 😉

SE's are GREAT phones. I only like the RAZR's and Symbian phones better than SE's.

My apologies. Blackberries. Lol. People who use them tend to get so addicted!

I hope it does better. I've got a s710 that's been sitting on my shelf for 3 months collecting dust. We haven't sold one of those, ever. I've still got 3 z500's collecting dust right next to it as well. And now the rebate is gone on those. We have had more SE phones (t226, t237 and z500) returned than anything besides the v180's and v220's.

I am with you on all of that. I have sold more of the S710's than I ever did the Z500. The Z500 was just unappealing. No eye candy there. Sony reallly put there heads together on this phone though. It has all the must have features, it's a heck of a lot smaller than the Z500, but you can still function on it, andthe price point is great! $79.99 for a phone that has bluetooth is a complete breakthru!

That's true, the z520 does have great features, I'm only concerned about the quality of the phone. Time will tell, hopefully SE got it right this time.

The phone is cool and is loaded with features for a great price... I'm concerned after using it and trying it out for a day that it's a little flimsy...

I agree, this phone will be great...Size was a main drawback to the Z500 and user experience is always a bit irritating for first time users, but hopefully Sony Ericsson sunk a little more in the reception department as well (which they'll tell you are class 10's!)

That phone is incredibly bad ass and a great price too. Its got all of the features of the T616/637, with a better camera, nicer screen, and updated OS. It is petite unlike the z500, and very stylish!
