Blackberry Data
If i were to buy a Blackberry 7290 and get the unlimited Xpress Mail Blackberry Add on for $44.99; would that give me unlimited emails and data? Would i be able to surf web with that plan, or have to buy something additional?

Depends on coverage where you work, live and travel. Around here people stay away from T-Mobile like the plague, as they only work on one major highway.

EDGE will improve Web browsing speeds but won't affect Email or data transfer from the Java apps. The new processor will improve performance and running of apps.
