They still don't have a firm system in place on how it will be supported like troubleshooting, etc..

Well Main reason is (in my personal opinion) that the expectations they set on ptt were not that... so.. theyre provisioning... thses samsung ptt's they ave to their employees (COR and some cust serv.) truly did suck.... i know mine takes FOREVER to connect... not 7 seconds like its original intent... i dont mind the wait if they can get it faster.

mine takes about 10 seconds, 11 on a bad day. The ones we tested 2 months ago were 7 seconds..

No not at all. as I said earlier, it's not everytime, and even 10 seconds isn't all that long. Once it's connected, it's instantanious. I think they'll launch it, but it won't break any reconrds right away.

well it doesnt really matter about intra calling.. the most consumers look for is a fast set up call. 10 seconds is long for the average person especially businesses. as you know sprint and verizon were about 3+ seconds and they didnt get a good reception.. (and their network is bigger and better then nextel's)

records right away? do you think it will do well even with the 10 seconds? who do you think will want to buy a product that has a 10 second intra calling delay?

(just curious)

yea i think they will. It depends how the sales person puts it accross to the customer. You know, how you word things...

But alot people have been waiting for it(at least in my area) and it's acceptable to many that we've told about it. Especially if the lag time comes down.. testing it today we actually started to connect at 8, so many they are tweating the network a little. It'll be a challenge thats for sure, but I'm on the positive side of it for now... time will tell.
