Yeah mines going straight to it now. But before it was weird I could only get to it by going to the old MEdia Net page, then clicking "what's hot" and scrolling to the bottom to "MEdia Net Home."

But its working now.

I am on the phone with them now and I did the IMEI change. It didn't work. So I am on hold. I will keep you posted.

yea i put a bid on ebay got it for $225.00 with next day shipping.
i lost the ST one i put a bid on because i didn't want to pay over $275.00 for it. (i know stingy me) 🙂 your cool to keep your i won't bug you anymore.

if my os system is really laggy its freezes for atleast 10seconds at a time sometimes is warranty still replaceing it with the se s710a?

i got it tuesday or wednesday. can't remember but i love it.

They are telling me that the new medianet format is not compatible with the S710a, so those of us that own the S710a will not be getting the new version.....ever. 😈

I am angry. They replaced my 6230 with the S710a, and now I find out that the 6230 will support the new version and this one won't. Once again, I get the shaft. I still ended up getting a phone that wouldn't do everything the 6230 would. This is crap. I am on hold for the call center manager. I wish the Cingular reps would know what they are doing. I can't see how the most advanced phone that Cingular has (without getting a PDA) wouldn't support this new media net. 🙄

They told me that the S710a is not a "Level 1" phone, so it is not capable of the new Media Net interface. They offerred to switch me to a level 1 phone (Nokia 6620 or Nokia 7610) but they didn't have those in stock. I am going to call today and see what they can do.

They only offerred those phones because I originally had the Nokia 6230 which was a level one phone. I don't know what they would do for you cellularman2006.

Will you make the switch 2 a different phone just for the new media net? Btw did u know warrenty exchange doesn`t have anymore se s710a`s I wonder what they are swaping it with until the w600 comes out. How do you feel about the w600? I am not that big of a fan of it becaucse smaller screen and quality, no external memory, it`s smaller which can be a pro and a con in the same sentence, and I don,t know if I'm a fan of that orange. How about you?

I will have to see the W600 before I make a decision. It won't be that bad because it has 256MB internal memory which is twice the size of the largest memory stick that the S710a will handle.

But the only reason they offerred me that option is because I originally had the Nokia 6230 that they replaced with the S710a. I don't know what they would do in your case.

So I called again today and even though they offered me the Nokia 6620, 6682, or the 7610, they informed me that they don't have any of those in stock so the only thing they can offer me is the RAZR V3. So since I already have that phone, and don't want another one, they basically told me that I am stuck until they get a "full kit" of one of the Nokias in stock. They will give me whatever one of those 3 Nokias whenever they get them in, but I have to keep calling in order to get it.

hell yea 😡 i aint goin with a razr when i have a v551 and they would't swap me for that. and they have no nokia's. which forced me to buy a se s710a which is a high-end model. at-least they talk to you about that stuff. every time i call i get a dumb chick with a really dumb name like ash-ta-lin-quanda jones who doesn't know jack and tries to skool me until i skool her and let her know i was a tech in the harrisburg call center. then she feels really stupid and tries to rush me off the phone. later on i'll give them a call and see what they can do for me. i don't feel like calling the because i've had enough of the for the past few days with my phone and this months bill which is all screwed up.
