converting att prepaid tdma to a gsm go phone
i have been told you cannot keep the same # and go from an att tdma prepaid to a cingular gsm go phone does anyone know if there is a way to do this. i work in pos and if you try to migrate it will not allow you to check the pre paid box.if the ss# was put in correctly when activated it will allow you to convert it to post pay but thats it.

I haven't tried it in awhile, but I know it used to work the way you're describing (I use POS also). I'd call the prepaid department to get an official answer. They might be able to do it there.
