recommendation on new phone
Im looking for a phone that has great reception and bluetooth on Cingular. I dont care about the web or ringtones or camera...although I would consider phones with cameras if they are exceptional performers in reception and have bluetooth.
Good battery life is important as well. Just your basic phone that can withstand being dropped etc.
I have had very bad luck with Motorola after my V60 fiasco....so I prefer others but willing to reconsider if you recommend a particular phone.
With Cingular devices you have 30 days buyers remorse from the order date with your phone EVEN if you got it for free. So take your phone home, try it where you need it to work and if you don't like, exercise your right as a comsumer & it return it.
*personal note*
I'd never recommend flip phones as a reliable phone for reception due to the fact that your anttena is going to be shorter than a "bar" phone & If you want a good camera, buy one.
With that said...

I have a BB....I only use it for messaging due to a contract my company has with TMobile. I have had Cingular for a while. I don't think I have service issues. The phone I have...a 3120 seems to be giving up. It was 30 bucks so who can complain and it doesnt have BT.
I just bought a new car with BT so that is driving a wish for BT. The functionality looks very nice considering I spend lots of time in the car.
I like the 6682...but will look into the Moto Razr since you have had people recommend it to you.
Thanks again for your thoughtful response.

i wouldn't reccomend a blackberry for reception. you'll get better reception out of a non-pda phone.
i am using the Samsung D357 right now, and everything is great on this phone, and it doesn't have a camera. it should be available any day now (mon or tuesday) for PTT. even if you don't use the PTT service, it might be ideal. the one thing i HAVE noticed with the Samsung vs my V3 is the range on the bluetooth isn't as far. won't be a problem in the car, but for example, with my v3 i can leave my phone on my desk and go into ...
