"We have the family plan"

"We have THE family plan."

Like there's only one of 'em. Maybe you guys don't know what I mean, but it seems that every customer finds it of utter importance to instantly blurt out that they are on a family plan, right when you address their visit to the store.

*shrugs.

Kinda annoys me.

How much does it annoy you when a customer comes in saying"

We'd like a family plan?

when they say that you know they are not buying so it bugs you.......

What I find annoying is that practically every customer has no idea what is included in their rate plan. They assume that just because M2M or No Roaming/No Long Distance is advertised everywhere that we automatically upgraded their plan to have it. And then when their bill is insanely high one month, they come in to complain. Its like buying a SUV, getting stuck in the mud four months later and going back to the dealership to complain that you couldn't get out... "I thought it had 4x4"

Haha thanks for the responses, guys. Most importantly, thanks for the backup, Tex.

Not kissing ass or anything but I value anything you say on here more than anyone else. You're one well educated and versed human being.

Furthermore, bluetoorange made a good point as well with the damaged phones. And people who come in and introduce themselves with this statement more often than not have just incurred major problems with one of their wireless devices and are coming to me to cut them some magical deal.

like if something's on rebate, and it costs $19.99 and then has a sign that says $14.99 after mail-in rebate and all the wording and numbers are the same freaking size, and people go 'no, it's supposed to be $14.99' when they get rung up.

I just want to ask them if they are illiterate. Or if they've ever heard of a rebate before.

Or 80 times a day someone walks right through the door, and goes straight to a sales person and says "i've looked everywhere and can't find..." when they only took 3 steps inside the store.

Or when people just throw money at you. When completing sales you hand over credit cards, checks, money, etc, and don't through change and crumpled up bills on a counter. I always try to use common courtesy, but never ...

Or how about when they walk up to you, you greet them, and they simply put the phone down in front of you without saying a word. Then they just stare at you, expecting youre gonna read theyre mind and say "oh yeah, looks like your screen's out"

I hate when they come into the store on their phone and then expect you to wait on them while their still talking to the person on the phone. Even better than that when they are in line and make everyone else wait behind them while they finish their converstion.

RUDE!!!
