I read with incredulity the business section of the Washington Post yesterday (Sunday) and was literally floored by the announcement that the wireless company currently known as "Cingular", after buying out AT&T's wireless operation, decided to change their name to...at&t!!! Gee, I wonder why??? Could it possibly be that Cingular has taken such a black eye because of how poor their coverage is, and they think by changing their nameplate that will make things all better? What are these suits thinking? Have they ever heard that a rose by any other name stinks the same?
