Cingular Blue, Cingular Orange Whats the Difference?

okay im not a Cingular customer, but i would like to be, because t-mobile just isnt cuting it. but i hear people say in these forums that they are "Cinuglar Blue" or "Cingular Orange" can some one help me out?

The legacy Cingular customer base is referred to as Orange and the Lgacy ATT customer base is referred to as blue. If you sign up for service now, you will be orange. If you have had service since before the merger with ATT, you are blue. hope this clears things up!

Yes, blue towers were for AT&T Wireless.

Orange for native cingular

Orange or blue is referring to "native" cingular and "acquired" cingular i.e. former subscribers who were acquired by cingular when they bought AT&T Wireless. Orange because cingular's native color scheme is orange while AT&T Wireless colors were blue.
