I'm gonna make one ammendment to this statement. G-Rad isn't wrong, but currently Cingular does not offer any of these plans.

Greetings to my Cingular counterparts but T-Mobile already had these plans for a couple of weeks now, like say 2-3 weeks at the least. Nice to know we were actually ahead of you guys in something for once.

There is only one HUGE downside
FamilyTalk $49/$59 Promotional Plans -- Customers who change to these rate plans will have normal Rollover Rate Plan Change Rules (1 time the number of minutes included in new rate plan).
Existing contract extension rules are in effect.

becuase they are promo plans, and not normal existing plans, you will have to sign an 11 month contract extension for all lines affected by the change.

Even though this will bring people into the store, you shouldn't talk about it on here. It also does not have rollover. Just let them come into a store on the 25th.

T-Mobile flamers give cingular a hard time because we could't compete with plans, and then when they do something about it to be able to compare, it's still not good enough. Go back to your own forum.

You like that? Well there's a bit more misinformation about this plan on here but I'm not gonna bring it up till Friday like we're supposed to. T-Mo has always had lower priced plans. T-Mo has always had a lot of things that are less than Cingular (including Coverage and Customers). Cingular will likely sacrifice net adds for ARPU for as long as they can, and give away as little as possible until they're into second place in size again. It's a business. Stop Trolling.

Not to butt, in but IMO, T-Mobile would probably have more customers than Cingular if Cingular and AT&T hadn't merged. Thats the only reason Cingular has more customers than Verizon, SprintNextel, and T-Mobile. "Globally" T-Mobile has WAY more customers than Cingular could count.

Well since you did butt in, so will I.

1. Cingular had 26 million customers before they merged with AT&T. T-Mobile had around 18 million.

2. Cingular still had more customers than Sprint and Nextel before they combined.

2. Deutche Telekom has around 70 million customers WORLDWIDE while Cingular has 52 million in the USA.

Yep, I've only looked at what my account exec sent though. I'm being lazy today. It says non-advertised in big pink letters (why pink?) above all three, but only one has a special notation of being non-advertised in the description.

It's weird marketing man. If they don't promote any of them, I'll smear them all over this place and everywhere else. It's been a slow month since the grocery store nearby closed and it'll bring in business.

49.99 1500 min plan will include m2m, but no n&w...

49&59 family plans will include both.

the only plan not being advertised is the 49.99 family plan, since it's for existing cust only.

doesn't matter what we post now, stores don't open til tomorrow anyway.

I am on a 450 w/rollover plan that recently migrated over from an ATTW plan. I was unable to find any link after logging into my account online to change to the 49.99 family plan. Anybody know how I can do this online? Or do I have to call CS or go into a store? Also I have a foundation number through my employer. The primary line is on a 1-year contract.

It's 1500 minutes for $49.99

It includes nationwide long distance, and unlimited mobile to mobile calling.
no rollover and
no night and weekend minutes.
Overage rate of $0.45 a minute.
You cannot add a line to this plan, it's for one phone number only.

I never said it would be better than anyone or even comparable to anything, just that I would wait until the day it was released to talk about it.

I am beginning to see a reason why Cingular customers are so negative of our customer service. Here's the scoop -- I have two Cingular lines of my acct with low usage so I got the idea that I should switch them to the Family Talk 450 holiday promotion plan. When I first called up the day after Thanksgiving to change my plan, the rep said "sorry that is not available in your market". When I got to work Friday morning I pulled up CSP and had no problem finding the plan in my market and took note of the actual path in CSP to find it. Later in the day I called Cingular back and this agent says "I can't find that plan, it must not be available." With that I just told the 2nd clueless rep the path in CSP to find the plan so after sometime she...
