Voice Mail vs Enhanced Voice Mail

What is the difference between the Voice mail of the ATTWS times and the Voice mail now? I ask because for 1.99 you get "Enhanced Voice Mail". Have they taken away some functionality from the original service and added it back as a premium? If so, can I live without it? I was thinking of stuff like "send message to list" which I never do.

I work for Cingular Blue but I believe what you are talking about is for Orange and the difference is enhanced lets you store messages for 21 days vs 14 days and 40 messages vs 20 messages also people can leave up to a 3 min message vs 2 mins so yeah if you need basic VM it is still free

Pretty much every US carrier has voicemail, caller ID, three way calling included in the price. I never understood why the Canadian wireless carriers always make that stuff extra. Interesting though that on prepaid all that stuff comes standard.

I'll never get that either. American's are lucky in that respect, free basic features!
