Really Want Cingular but have no credit history becuz I just turned 18 a month ago
can anyone help me get a cingular account i have t-mobile i wanna get cingular but when i did a credit check they told me 500 while verizon was 400. Plz help anyway to get cingular i dont want go plans or prepaid.

IMHO, that is the dumbest thing I have heard of. Cingular will not give service to someone who just turned 18 (no credit history) without a deposit, but I know people who have filed bankruptcy and Cingular has given them service without a deposit. Doesn't make much sense to me. 🙄

Yeah. It sucks, but, thats the way it is. Ive heard that if you keep a go phone active for 12 months, they send you a letter telling you you are eligible for contract service.

Get a Debit Card through your bank account that has a credit card logo on it. Every time you use it, ask to use as credit instead of debit (still draws from acct., not from Visa or Mastercard). I have done this since getting a checking account at age 18. I am now 22 and my credit is in the high 700s.

yea sure im up for that I did it online it just told me that they dont approve me and told me that i should get a go phone. If u could plz get my deposit down to 150 then for sure I'll go with cingular thanks alot.

try going to a store in your area and ask them if your credit application came back "Z class"
if it did, there should be a way to get a $150 deposit
