Everybody is the best. It just depends on what you're looking to get out of wireless, and where you live.

The only person that can answer your question is you.

Hopefully, end of discussion.

Who cares about coverage??? I need to be able to talk for 10,000 minutes a month and use 25.000 text messages while doing that. I have a "business" to run.

business people NEED coverage! and anyone who is running a successful business has either 2 carriers (major ones) or one carrier with a $199.99 bill BEFORE TAXES or higher. and will most likely NEED a SERVER based PDA which CRICKET doesn't offer! 😈

There *is* no absolute best. Each carrier will work differently at different locations. With that said it is generally known that VeriZon has the best overall coverage of any carrier in the US. It also depends on where you wish to use your service what's best for you. If you only use your phone in town and never go to remote areas Verizon while very good may be overkill for you when another carrier such as Sprint or T-Mobile might work just as well for you and cost you less per month.

hey i'm not trying to start a flame war the reason why i was asking is because i have had nextel and now i have cingular and every month my bill is in the 200,250 price range because i have a joint account with my wife and i just wanted to know who the best with plans, phones, service period in raleigh nc? 🙂

vzw and cingular plans are an exact match. so you choose which would be the better for you. check t-mobile in your area their prices are way lower but make sure the coverage is right for you. sprint is expensive. cricket and all those other regional carries may offer unlimited minute plans but roaming may not be an option.

so with that said the research is now left to you to look and see what's good for you.
