i wonder since ptt finally hit the blocks if cingular will put it out available to pre-pay customers! 😕
just a thought considering boost being popular and idens shelf life..........
what are you guy's opinions and assumptions?
...
it would be a good idea, however, cingular's prepaid product has been struggling to boost mobile, virgin mobile and tmobile's prepaid unit.. not sure if that would bennefit them though.
...
yea that's very true.
after boost is gone. do you know who will take over the pre-pay ptt or if sprint will work something out with virgin or boost to keep the ptt in effect?
...
well, boost mobile wont be gone well into the 2008+ time period if the rumor is true with the DOD taking over (buying) nextel's iden.
we should just stick to the things at hand at what is in stone..
iden is supposed to last until 2010. if that happens boost will also.
remember qchat? lol. that will be a big play with the post paid and prepaid units.
...
DOD='S GOVERNMENT. i thought the government wasn't taking IDEN over.
atleast that is what many folks told me before on here.
...
according to rumors they are. (we know rumors mean nothing ) i also wont comment on that either.
by the way you said "after boost is gone. " why did you say that? (i thought you were relating to the rumor.. )
...
i was....if iden goes so won't boost? thats what i meant.
...
well yea, but iden wont go away for at least until 2010.
...
so there is plenty of life for boost and for nextel, but if boost's life is over soon they can find use qchat as ptt's substitute and i think they will still win in that area.. (esp with their data and coverage)
...
ok! sounds good provide me with a link or two so i can research this q-chat. if you dont mind
...
what kind of information?
...
features, specs, ect...
i seen someone say it had ptt photo or something.
...
true. but if they market it right i believe they can do it. at&t pulled the GO PHONE monthly pre-pay off nice but cingy is letting it slip away and their price range is STILL better than VZW's on it.
