$99 and wait for a rebate? You can't be serious.

Why not save a bunch get the hardware from Wal Mart or Best Buy Then deal directly with Cingular for any issues?

They will tell you you won't get suppost from Best Buy and wal Mart but you don't NEED it from them. You won't get support from a Cingular corporate store either because they did not make a commission off ya. So there you go.

Thats the TWO Cingulars. The real Cingular is on the other end of 611 anyway, Who do you think the sales dweebs are calling when you trot into their overpriced stores?

Lets see wait 6-8 weeks for a $50 rebate AFTER giving $150 for the phone or just get the phone for $69!

Seems like a no brainer to me.

that is true, but i would rather get it from cingular then from best buy and walmart. (i dont shop at walmart.. its below my standards lol. )

at least you are sort of guarenteed to have a good product from cingular itself then bestbuy.. plus if you return it to bestbuy you might have that wonderful restocking fee and other fees.

Nope no restocking fees. Wal Mart will take anything back for any reason. no pressure there.

I am sure you enjoy paying others more up to your standards. Its a good thing there are people like you in the world, otherwise who would buy all those ugly Hummers?

Yeah some people need the "bang" that comes from prestigous items and would not get caught at Wal Mart. I understand.

NO- Some people just understand how bad Wal-Mart is for America and refuse to support a company that pays 85% of their people minimum wage. Then Wal-Mart use's the money they save on payroll to drive down prices to push out the little companies that make America, America. Wal-Mart Sucks and people that shop there are the same people that do not support our troops and are left wing liberals.

Wow what an ignorant generalzation. So I guess here in the south where Liberals are as rare as an Amish guy in Best Buy, Wal Marts are not doing well?

People make the CHOICE to work at Wal Mart. People who did not make a choice to get an education perhaps, or did not do well enough in school to get a scholorship, or did not work their way through school/ Or perhaps in many cases are working because they want to not becasue they have to? Or are retired and do not want to make too much income.

those same low prices put more money in peoples pockets to buy MORE goods thus increasing their standard of living. All throughout American History business who could not compete failed. If you want to pay more money for the exact same goods g...

Cellular Dude I agreed with you and the well put statement up until the part about left wing liberals....Oh well why can't all of you guys just see that this ten midgets character is just some corporate reject working for min. wage at Wal Mart. Plus it is my understanding from a very reliable source that Wal Mart employees do not get paid comm. if that is the case what would make them want to take care of any customer with questions or concerns about a cell ph. since they have no chance of making any more than there 5.75$ an hr. Wal Mart is a demon and is one of the major reasons that the mom and pop spots (where customer service really was important) and that old guy that knew you by name and would help w you anything are gone F**K WAL MART...

Let me ask you a question... Why is profit a dirty word? Why do people like "Ten" feel that every company should sell at little or no profit? Cost on a Motorola Razor is $260.00. Cingular Pays $235.00 Commission on a $49.99 Rate plan. If I sell that phone for $70.00 then I make $45.00 net profit. If my store sold 60 phones a month like that I will gross $2700.00. I have rent at $1600.00 and a full time employee at $1500.00. So far I am losing $400.00 and I have not paid any utilities, business insurance or myself.
This is what is wrong with America. People like "Ten" forget that its the small business owners that employ 70% of America. The other 30% of people work for the larger companies and if those companies were not profitable then pe...

That is not true.

Wal-Mart will NOT take back a phone after 15 days AND it must have less than 30 minutes.

Best Buy also has a similar minute policy, although they do offer 30 days.

Cingular stores (and most EVERY AGENT since it is in our contract to offer the same or better return policy) junked the minute requirement years ago since almost anyone with a new toy uses it right away and runs up more than that very quickly.
