Starting Friday Cingular customers can dial #43 (#ID) on their cell phones, hold the phone up to their source of music for 15 seconds, and Music ID will return the song title and artist!

First one is free, then pay per use after that at $1 per call. I cant see myself ever doing it since I only listen to my ipod, but there just may be a time when I freak out and have to know it.
