V557
Does anyone have any info on whether the V557 will be PTT in the future, or what the first moto PTT will be for Cingular? I know the 557 isnt PTT now, but i didnt know if that's because Cingular hasnt done full nationwide launch of PTT yet. The two phones they have now, the LG and Samsung are sort of lower end phones, no camera, bluetooth, etc.

The Samsung D357 does have bluetooth, and is EDGE capable, it also has the VoiceSignal voice recognition software, still no camera however. Even without the camera however I would not call this a low end phone.. I'd call it a higher end mid-level phone.
The LG is still an LG and that's all I can really say about that one.

the ptt hardware and software on the current v557 is NOT compatible with the cingular network. the samsung is a good phone just doesn't have a camera.
as far sa if they are coming out with a v557 that is ptt compatible with cingular's network i don't know. but word on the street is they are rolling out a nokia 6102 that will be ptt capable in 2006.
