Help - How Would U Rate
Recently bought the Sony Ericsson z520a from Best Buy. Had to get used to not having the normal call send/end buttons, but I liked it 🙂 . But I dropped it open face the other night & the internal screen became distorted with horizontal lines across the top half of the screen 😢 . No damage whatsoever to the external screen or casing, not even a scratch. So I sent an email to Sony Ericsson to which they replied its basically going to cost me just about as much as it did to buy the phone (not in those exact words) to have it repaired.
But checked my account and saw that I was eligible for an upgrade 😁 , and need help choosing a phone.

well heres my rating on phones as i have used all of them to one extent or another working in a retail cingular phone.
1. Sony Ericsson W600i - to me this would be my choice out of this list. this phone has the best reception compared to the rest. the screen is also fantastic and has over 262,000 thousand colors compared to the 64,000 the rest has and the screen resolution is amazing. it has blue tooth built in and sports a 1.3 mp camera. the phone also has the walkman mp3 interface which is similar to an ipod as well as built in stereo speaker so you can listen to your music if your not feelin it through the headphones. size is not to bad and is unique in the fact that it swivels to either side to expose the keypad. this phone also r...

sorry buddy but any cingular branded razr doesnt have this unless you upgrade the rom yourself after you buy it.

Hate to say this but you are quite wrong, 1techguy is correct , for the past few months every razor that I have sold has video record enabled , which made sense since tmobile was selling there version with this feature enabled in the first place.

Damn my fault, you are right. thats funny cuz after i read your post i pulled a razor off the shelf and checked it out. bout time they added that, thanks for clarifying. nobody in my store knew this either as they added this feature but with no announcement of it.

your right, i must be on a high horse to take time at home after work to offer my rating's on phones. And your also right my "opinions" on the phones are basically invalid and misleading because my overall rating didn't mention the data speeds, which were not inquired about. MAAAN do me a favor and quit typing. your ignorance and stupidity provides proof that this new years eve you'll either be hosting a LAN party or re-formatting hard drives. do us all a favor and get some trim, otherwise you might be the star of the next 40-year old virgin movie.

Sorry to jump in late here... but....... he simply stated you forgot to talk about EDGE.... Obviously the original poster is into higher end phones, which some support edge. He didn't ask about cameras or PTT, but you mentioned those features... Any 'good' sales person would mention any feature that might sway a customer one way or another... EDGE is one of the things we offer that most of our GSM competition is not offering, and we offer it pretty much anywhere there is coverage. Maybe you should have taken a tip from him instead of insulting him... Insulting someone is the same as admitting you are ignorant. He was trying to help out, not put you down.
