Look up the Nokia 9300. im excited to see this phone coming to cingular stores 1st quarter of this year. also another sweet phone coming at the end of this month is the Cingular branded 8125 Wizard, which is gonna kick the crap out of the siemens sx66 and the iPaq 6515.
🙂 those release dates is for 01-28-06 🙂

The sidekick is a piece of *!!*, more of a toy than a phone, check out the blackbery 8700, great business tool, edge internet and push email.

Cingular doesn't make phones...they can request based upon customer input for certain phones.
Most of the reviews for the Samsung are based upon business reviewers (people who use Treo 650s or Blackberrys). Those same reviewers have a avid dislike for the sidekick.
The sidekick might have been carried by Cingular had it been 850 compliant.
Most of the Qwerty devices that Cingular will carry is aimed at the business marketplace.
If you really feel that way, buy a unlocked sk2 from fleabay and insert your sim and away you go.
Outside of the HW6515 and the rumored Treo Hollowood/700w for GSM and the rumored HW6900 series, there aren't a ton of qwerty devices on the market...

Well the sk2 in my opinion sux. I havent read much on the sk3 and what its going to have but I do know that the sk2 is nothing more then a glorified phone with a full keyboard. Sk2 doesnt even support Bluetooth so if your looking for a true PDA sk2 would be at the bottom of my list. If your just looking for a toy that looks cool then the sk2 might suit you but from what ive heard its nothing but problems. My girlfriend works at T-Mobile and deals with sk2 problems all day. If you are staying with cingular then your choices of PDA's would be Treo 650 multiple BB's and so on. Good luck in your search.

I have to say, my SK II has been superb. I miss bluetooth, but I actually returned my Treo because I found the SK keyboard far superior as well as the push e-mail.

The web was actually more usable in daily use as well because of Danger's proxy server technology.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Nokia E61 due out this quarter. Am I missing something?
