How do I get Cingular out of town
Im out of town (Las Vegas) until July 6. I went to a Cingular stroe today and tried to get a phone and port over from ATT but they said they could not do that! I have to be in LAs Vegas to do that.
Is that true? Sounds kind of strange to me since this is a national network and you can get them all day on the internet!!!!!

I work customer service for cingular wireless. How GSDM works is to activate new service on a port or reagular activation your phone needs to recieve a download. The downloads have different informaion depended upon where u live. You need a Las Vegas cingular download. That is the reason u have to wait. Welcome to cingular
