😳 😳 😳

All of you in GSM phone land...

Have you ever heard of the Motorola m900 fixed car phone?

I have heard our local Alltel/Western Wireless/CellularOne stores bragging about this phone being the answer to a bag phone (supposed to have 3 watts of power w/o needing a booster to get there). Apparently Motorola is now making an m800 which handles CDMA/Analog? ANY HELP ON THIS ONE WOULD GREAT?!? 😳

Motorola does not make a install car phone at this time, nor do I think they ever will again.

3 watt phones do not do anything in the digital age. Boosters only made a significant difference with Analog technology.

According to what I hear (you can take that for whatever)...

The m800 is supposed to be the answer to not using the booster (Wilson boosters do the lower end of the digital band). Supposed to be 3 watts out of the box..I just want to know for sure and see if Verizon has plans for this phone in the near future.

The thing is digital does not use the higher power levels. 3 watts would do nothing to a digital signal to enhance the quality. In fact it actually creates problems when using improper boosters.
