speaking to a REALLY, REALLY, reliable person. TRUST ME RELIABLE. an account rep okay.

she stated VZW will be moving to wal-mart YES WAL-MART !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FEBURARY 1, 2006 OR THE 18TH i'll ask again later. there will be a soft launch in 3 markets. one being PA, NY, and i can't remember but i think somewhere down south maybe georgia. BUT!!!!!! she did state for sure june 1, 2006 will be the national launch date of WAL-MART.

Costco alread has Verizon and the phones have the same return policy as everything (except computers) at Costco. UNLIMITED. NO 30 day time limit to return a phone.

Im always glad to see non propietary big retailers get in the wireless sales business. It goes to show how common wireless has become and that one does not need "special sales" education on the technology any more to get a phone at a resonable price. It as common as home phones anymore. No one needs special service to by a home phone.

The Costco store in Merrillville Indiana doesn't have Verizon Wireless, neither as a corporate kiosk or as an authorized agent. I don't remember what service(s) is/are sold in that Costco, but I know Verizon Wireless is not one of them. Sams Club down the street from Costco has an authorized agent (non-Wal-mart run) that sells Sprint only, Cingular, & T-Mobile. They used to sell Verizon Wireless in 2000, but later dropped them.
