Family talk Feature attachment
Maybe its just me, but I have a theory. lets say a customer has a family talk line and has 4 lines. Him, his wife, and 2 kids. The 2 kids are in school and are constantly text messaging, as most kids do. I have yet to see any carrier offer text messaging plans to be shared between all lines on the account, or any feature attachment at that matter. I would just see that being a big selling point for a carrier, as I have NUMEROUS customers asking if that is possible. Any ideas on why they dont allow this?

sprint does they just charge an ARM and a LEG a FOOT and a few TEETH to do it. and sharing any amount of text messages or features under the unlimited is just stupid.
but sprint offer's it and its expensive as heck. you can expect to pay about $40.00 if you want that package with 4 lines.

Well I think if cingular were to offer its media packages or any text packages available for sharing over a family talk plan it would increase thier feature attachments. Plus if 4 people were sharing lets say 1000 txts, it would be hard for them to know how many they have used unless they called it in. Which would increase thier 10c per msg and 25c per picture message. I think in the long run they would make more money and satisfy more customers.

it seems that since sprints doing it isn't giving cingular of verizon a run for their money. they will not rush to offer it.

Cingular doesnt have a mobile to mobile unlimited text plan?? Hmmm.. well I dont use my Cingular phone for texts.
However I have unlimited Txt to Txt to other Verizon customers on my Verizon plan plus i get 50 off network txt's. This package is 5.99 a month.
I am sure cingular should have something like this.

Im not talking about unlimited mtm texting, Im saying if people have a family talk plan (more then 2 lines), they should make it available to share a media or text package between the people on the plan. Instead of paying 5 dollars per person for 200 texts, pay 10 dollars for 1000 and be able to share them between all users on that particular family talk account.
