Does wireless home network signals kill GSM phone signals...?????

Does anyone know whether or not if the signals from the antennas in a wireless home network affect GSM phones or the GSM antennas on these phones? Reason asking, I have a wireless networks setup in my apartment with a computer in my bedroom (which is where the wireless router with antenna and cable modem are located) and then I have another desktop computer setup in my living room (with a wireless PC card which also has an antenna).

I notice everytime I use a Motorola phone, I can never get a signal in my apartment (currently using the RAZR). Just wondering if its the signals crossing each other and the wireless network in my apt is stronger than the GSM signal, totally clueless but somethings not right, or is it just that its a Moto ph...

I had the same experience with my Moto V400, and since I switched to Nokia 6230 I do alot better in my apartment. I do have other issues with the 6230, but that's off topic.

I have heard that wireless network signals can interfere with cell phone signal, but I'm no expert on it, and honestly can't recall where I heard that, so take my input for what it's worth.

Most Linksys wireless routers operate in the 2.4 GHz band. The only time I've heard of issues with routers was if there's a Muni-WiFi network in your area... In other words the city pays for low-speed wireless internet service and most of your town turns into a HotSpot...

...oh and 2.4 GHz cordless telephones.... Check to see if your wireless router does anything with Bluetooth and check it's specs to see if there are any known conflicts with Bluetooth enabled devices...
