i currently have a nokia 3595. it has the best rf and sound quality i have ever experienced with any cell phone but i like gadgets and this phone has a small crappy color screen and barely has poly ringers (only 4 chords). i want a phone with at least a vga camera, 128*160 65k tft screen and 24chord polys. form factor doesnt matter. i dont want to sacrifice rf and sound quality which is my reason for this post. which gadget phone can perform for it supposed main purpose (phone calls)? my friend who used to have a 3595 also said the v400 isnt as good. what should i get? i have been thinkin about a v600. any ideas??? any help is appreciated

i don't see why you wouldn't go for a v400 or v600...by the way, the v600 is almost identical to the v400.

I've had my V400 since March and had ZERO problems. RF is comparable to my old reliable 6340i. Sound quality is good and who needs polys when you have MP3?! I love mine so much I got one for my wife and one for my stepdad, as well. I'd get a few more opinions on the V400/V600 before taking your friend's opinion as gospel.

i use a v400 as well, and have had no problems either. i get good reception in areas where we list as "low coverage", and sound quality and volume are great.

aside from my phone, the only problems i ever see with v400's is a seldom software issue. some if the first ones that came out had isses with the camera not working after a week or a game taking a crap, but the last few months have been virtually problem free. i know for a fact that Moto updated the software since the first ones, as there was a bulletin about older softwares mis-reporting the battery level.
