Terry,

Houston is mostly 850 mhz. Of course 1900 mhz in some locations via the aquisition of AT&T.

Ok. Cool. This is for a friend of mine. I am a loyal T-Mobile customer.

Yes Terry I know. Still have the V635? Mine is sitting at the Ft. Worth repair center getting my worn volumeless speaker replaced. Doubt they will do it for free as it was an Orange unit that I imported in May of last year. Still the best phone that I have ever carried.

I am not sure if Houston has roaming agreements with Cingular on the 850 mhz band. Still should be plenty of T-Mo towers.

Nope. I been got rid of that crap. Motorola, wow, they need help. I sold that thing last spring. I have a Samsung E730. Way less issues than Motorola. They could take notes from Samsung on quality.

My V635 had speaker phone issues, and on the first day it rang for no reason, and beeped. I was like, what the heck. Then the camera sucked. My E730 has crisp pictures, even on the phone screen.
