2125 help

Okay, here's the deal. I just got the 2125 and I think it is a pretty awesome phone. The only thing that I am having trouble with is copying my Sim Contacts to the phone. On the Audiovox 5600 there was a Sim Manager but no such luck on this bad boy. Tried beaming from another phone but no luck. Any ideas besides one by one?

I have a machine in my store that converts your phonebook from the old phone to the new. One of your local agent locations should be able to help. There may be a small fee involved.

This is Mike asking the question. The UME-24 doesn't support Windows Mobile 5.0

Mike,

First a Treo 650 and now a 2125?? You are indeed a fellow wireless junkie. Jon pays you too well.

I stand corrected on the data transfer. I haven't been privy to sell one yet. Thank you for the input and saving me the frustraion as I hover over my Memory Exchanger.

Keep up the good work and happy selling!! Holla!

all you gotta do is use the ume-24 device to get the contacts off of the audiovox using ir and get it to transfer to the new sim using it's built in card reader. I did this today and it worked. all contacts were transferred to the sim. You gotta get this done at a cingular company owned store though.

Your right, The 2125 doesnt have a sim manager but im sure there is a third party smartphone program you can purchase to have the same function. i do know however that the first time you put your sim card in that phone and it boots up all the way and its at the main screen that you can push the contacts button and it will then prompt you to copy all your contacts from your sim card to populate our phonebook.
