Answertones Question
Does anyone know how to record a greeting before the music starts with cingular answertones? they don't officially launch until 2/6 and the website does not have instructions on how to do this. i've tried doing it by calling *TONE also, but recording a greeting is not an option. Any help would be appreciated. 🙂

i did, that site won't on my pc.
a while back i did the *tone thing and it didn't work. i could listen to the selection but when i selected it my phone still rung with the normal tone.
someone on here told me i'd have to give it up to a day or two so it can program. however getting them to stop billing me was a pain so i don't want to try it until the launch.

Hermmm... I havent had any troubles so far, and I got the option to record a greeting right after I purchased the tone... I havent found a way to do it later... Ill let you know if I do

I just want them to have more songs to choose from.... I bought 2 when I first found out about it, but now IM bored with them and they only seem to have pop/R&B songs... not really any altenative/ROCK besides greenday and 3 doors down. OH and lynard skynard
