In my opinion, Windows Mobile 5 is definitely worth the extra money, whatever that amount may be, over a device that has Windows Mobile 3. Version 5 has many enhancements that make it much easier to operate the device with one hand. Now, keep in mind that my experience with Windows Mobile devices is only with PDA's like the Treo.
